Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker/Maintenance Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating manual machine shop equipment, including grinders, lathes, and mills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual machines, lathes, mill machines, and other equipment with precision and accuracy
- Read and interpret part drawings, assembly drawings, and blueprints of machine assemblies
- Repair and rebuild complex equipment, including clutches, stamping presses, and conveyors
- Lay out material and fabricate equipment guards, rails, chutes, and other components
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and ensure safe operation
Requirements:
- State Journeyman's papers
- Five (5) plus years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker/Maintenance Machinist
- High value and sense of urgency to complete projects and tasks with minimal guidance
