What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement / Insurance / Bonding Coordinator position at Crown Electrokinectics?
The Procurement/Insurance/Bonding Coordinator is responsible for managing the relationship between Crown and Suppliers / Subcontractors for the generation and execution of approved purchase orders. The coordinator is also responsible for managing the relationship with insurance providers to facilitate generation of required Certificates of Insurance necessary for customers, suppliers, subcontractors or other agents. Finally, Coordinator is also responsible for all elements of securing and issuing bonds required for project bidding and management.
The Procurement / Insurance / Bonding Coordinator, with approval of the General Manager and Construction CFO, has the authority to · Coordinate generation of purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors · Generation and distribution of Certificates of Insurance in coordination with insurance brokers · Management of all elements of bonding process
Duties & Responsibilities
Core Objectives · Generation of purchase orders in coordination with project manager · Management of all elements of insurance certificates · Coordination with bonding agent in generation of bonds for customer requirements.
Applicable to all Crown Construction roles:
· Quality, safety and environmental
o Ensure that you adhere to the company’s quality, safety, and environmental policies and procedures and that acceptable working methods and practices are followed.
o Identify quality, safety, and environmental hazards that may arise during the fabrication, installation, and use of temporary works, or execution of construction methods and communicate these to affected project staff.
o Carry out all activities in such a manner to ensure a safe working environment.
· Compliance
o Adherence to the Crown Construction Financial and Administrative Systems.
o Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with the requirements of the relevant specifications, codes, and standards, which form part of the contract.
o Implementing pertinent requirements of the Project including referenced procedures
Qualifications
High School degree or equivalent.
Experience
5 years’ experience in a similar position
Knowledge and Skills
· Ability to communicate effectively with external parties · Strong organization skills
· Proficient in MS Office applications and administrative software platforms.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
