Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

We are hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer who has a sound knowledge of computer software, hardware, internet applications, operating systems, servers, and networks. You need to maximize the functionality of technology by installing, maintaining and updating computer systems, servers, and networks. This position is also going to be a point of escalation for our IT Technician.

In order to succeed in this job, you should have excellent troubleshooting abilities with a keen eye for details. You must also have experience in an IT-related field or have completed college level IT curriculum or technical certifications in Information Technology. Lastly, you must be a team player with the ability to perform well in a team environment. Requirements and Qualifications :

• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field,
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an IT-related field, preferably in a position working with infrastructure.
• 2-3 years' experience with ESXi host, Cisco switches, and Windows server operating systems.
• Problem Identification and troubleshooting skills
• Complete knowledge of different computer systems, operating systems, servers, and data networks
• Basic knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional or CompTIA A are a plus
• Organizational, management and communication skills
• Ability to take quick decisions and work in a fast-paced team environment
