About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure effective, safe, and cost-efficient operations, as well as effective staff management for production staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead staff to meet daily and weekly production goals through efficient production processes
- Serve as a role model for respect of company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the service department to consistently meet their needs through complete tie-outs and timely responses to urgent service requests
- React immediately to perceived safety violations or issues, contacting the Safety Director promptly
- Communicate visibly via a Production Board
- Ensure product quality by implementing a quality assurance system internally
- Document, teach, and enforce formulas and processes
- Work with office staff to handle new hire paperwork and other reporting efficiently and accurately
- Address disciplinary issues in consultation with the General Manager before implementation
- Maintain flexibility to move employees between workstations to meet production requirements
This role requires the ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation. A minimum of 3 years of production experience in a related environment, preferably in a lead position, is necessary. Familiarity with production safety regulations/issues is also required.
