Transportation Coordinator/Central Supply

We are currently seeking a highly organized and dependable Central Supply/Transportation Coordinator to help manage both the essential supply chain and transportation services that support our team and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Central Supply:

• Oversee the ordering, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that all inventory is adequately stocked and readily available.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of supplies in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure that medical and non-medical supplies are replenished on time.
• Assist in organizing and managing equipment and supplies for resident care, including specialty items.
  
  
  

Transportation Coordination:

• Schedule and coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments, activities, and other off-site needs.
• Provide safe, timely, and compassionate transportation for residents, ensuring comfort and care during transit.
• Collaborate with medical staff, families, and other departments to coordinate transportation requirements and maintain accurate schedules.
• Assist residents in boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support as needed.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of transportation vehicles.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience in central supply management and/or transportation coordination, preferably in a healthcare or senior care environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a focus on resident care.
