- Oversee the ordering, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that all inventory is adequately stocked and readily available.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of supplies in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure that medical and non-medical supplies are replenished on time.
- Assist in organizing and managing equipment and supplies for resident care, including specialty items.
- Schedule and coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments, activities, and other off-site needs.
- Provide safe, timely, and compassionate transportation for residents, ensuring comfort and care during transit.
- Collaborate with medical staff, families, and other departments to coordinate transportation requirements and maintain accurate schedules.
- Assist residents in boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of transportation vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in central supply management and/or transportation coordination, preferably in a healthcare or senior care environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
