We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need of assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide home community care services to individuals in need
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate and respectful manner
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Prepare nutritious meals for clients based on dietary restrictions and preferences
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning individuals as needed
• Provide patient care services, such as monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse
• Maintain accurate medical documentation of care provided
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
• Ability to lift and move objects or individuals as required
• Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
• Familiarity with meal preparation and nutrition guidelines
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
• Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
• Understanding of cleanliness standards and infection control practices
