Purpose

As the Marketing Project & Account Manager at Crown Jewel Marketing, you will be the key liaison between our clients and internal teams. Your role is twofold:

  1. Account Management – Serve as the primary voice for our difference-making clients, ensuring ongoing communication, building trust, and delivering strategic marketing solutions.
  2. Project Management & Execution – Oversee project plans, timelines, and deliverables—from ideation through implementation—while also rolling up your sleeves to handle light implementation tasks (e.g., email campaigns, workflow maps, social media posts).

You’ll balance daily coordination, strategic oversight, and execution to drive remarkable outcomes for our clients.

1. Key Responsibilities1. Account Management (≈30% of Role)


Client Onboarding & Welcome

  • Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and clear expectations.

Client Communication

  • Send weekly email updates on project status, deliverables, and next steps.
  • Conduct meetings (in person or via Zoom) to review progress, present final deliverables, and gather feedback.
  • Present all work in a way that provides a “wow” moment for the client.

Relationship Building

  • Listen actively to understand client needs and challenges; proactively suggest relevant marketing tactics.
  • Gather testimonials, feedback, and success stories to refine our services.

2. Project Management (≈30% of Role)


Project Planning & Coordination

  • Outline detailed project scopes (e.g., website builds, brand campaigns), adding tasks and milestones to project management tools (Basecamp, Drive, etc.).
  • Develop creative briefs and assign tasks to the appropriate team members, setting realistic deadlines.
  • Continuously monitor progress; adjust tasks and timelines as needed to meet deadlines.

Team Coordination

  • Conduct daily checks of team members’ tasks and workloads, re-prioritizing or reassigning as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Creative team, Digital Marketing team, and any freelancers to ensure tasks get done accurately and on time.

Quality Control & Reporting

  • Perform final reviews on all deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment before sending to clients.
  • Track project milestones, proactively flag risks or bottlenecks, and propose solutions.

3. Marketing Execution (≈30% of Role)


Campaign Execution

  • Email & SMS Campaigns: Build out campaigns, set up audience segments, and schedule sends.
  • Workflow & Funnels: Create or edit workflow automations, funnels, and triggers within GoHighLevel (or similar platforms).
  • Content & Social Media: Write or edit social media content, schedule posts, and collaborate with the creative team for visuals.

Technical & Platform Management

  • Maintain and update websites (light updates, new pages, content edits) as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues within GoHighLevel (e.g., triggers not firing, broken automations).

Copywriting & Briefs

  • Draft creative briefs and marketing materials using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) where appropriate.
  • Adapt voice and messaging according to each client’s brand guidelines.

4. Strategic Input & Collaboration (≈10% of Role)

  • Marketing Strategy
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and clients to define unique marketing strategies that align with business goals.
  • Provide insights on new platforms, automation tools, and AI-driven strategies.
  • Ongoing Optimization
  • Track and interpret campaign data to optimize performance.
  • Suggest improvements or additional marketing tactics (e.g., new funnel segments, social media initiatives, etc.).


Required Qualifications & Skills


  • 5 Years Experience

Project & Account Management Experience

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Asana, Trello).

Marketing Acumen

  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Ability to develop and present creative ideas that align with client objectives.

AI Tools & Automation

  • Ability to use ChatGPT (or similar AI platforms) and learn new tools quickly.
  • Demonstrated initiative to replace repetitive tasks by training AI bots and streamlining processes.
  • Strong desire to grow with evolving AI technologies to enhance efficiency and innovation.

Writing & Communication

  • Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrated ability to craft emails, social posts, and marketing briefs that resonate with target audiences.

Detail-Oriented & Organized

  • Skilled at documenting processes, labeling files, and keeping team assignments clear.
  • Able to spot small errors before they become larger issues.
