Description : : : {#description aria-label="Description"} : : : {#jobDesc-row}[]{#jobDesc}GENERAL PURPOSEThis position is responsible for delivering and picking up customer linen in a timely and professional manner within assigned routes utilizing delivery vehicles like trailers, box trucks, and / or cargo vans.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperates a delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) assigned by the company to the driver with an established or alternate route as scheduled.Delivering carts (metros) in the most time-efficient manner and collecting signed delivery tickets.Validates the content of delivery by performing a reconciliation of carts (metros) to be delivered to customer and from customer.Performs pre and post-delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) inspections daily.Maintains the condition of the delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) clean and disinfected, based on company protocol and guidelines.When ending the shift, the delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) must have a full gas tank.Provides reports about any maintenance issues related to the delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) (box or trailer) or any other concerns.Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.Adheres to all traffic rules and DOT regulations.Must be punctual and stringent about timings and make no delays in deliveries.Must be prepared to work in any traffic pattern, severe weather, and strict deadlines according to our business needs.Must always be in full uniform provided by the company.Will always provide professional and courteous service to our customers and their staff.Will communicate with Logistic Manager any customer or route concerns.Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned : : : : : : Qualifications : : : {#qualifications aria-label="Qualifications"} : : : {#jobQualifications-row}[]{#jobQualifications}QUALIFICATIONSMust have a High School diploma or equivalent.Must have a valid drivers license Class A.Must have a valid medical card.Must have 2 or more years related experience.Must have clean driving record.Must be able to pass a drug and background test.Must have excellent customer service skills.Must be able to work independently, be responsible for route, and work unsupervised 90% of the time.[]{style=""} : : : : : :
