Crown LSP Group is looking for an HR & Payroll Coordinator to provide technical and administrative support of human resources and company policies, programs, and procedures for hourly and salaried associates. The responsibilities of this position include full cycle payroll processing, benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment, regulatory compliances, policy/procedure development and implementation, performance management, and career development. The successful candidate must possess good leadership skills, excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, and willing to accept diversified responsibilities. This individual must maintain the highest level of integrity, company security and confidentiality.
The HR & Payroll Coordinator responsibilities are but not limited to:
· Acts as an informational resource to all levels of associates in interpreting and administering programs, policies, procedures and data management systems such as ADP and Time and Attendance.
· Plans, organizes, administers and conducts the recruitment process for new employees.
· Advises and trains managers/supervisors on Employment Law related matters.
· Serves as a secondary resource for any benefits and payroll related questions. Acts quickly to resolve any issues that associates may have in regard to medical, dental, vision or 401k.
· Reconciles and processes monthly associate Benefit insurance invoices for payment through AP.
· Administers FMLA, LOA, Disability, Random Drug Screening, and other Programs.
· Prepares and submits Company responses to Unemployment claims. Organizes and participates in Unemployment Appeals Hearings.
· Coordinates Worker’s Comp audit, non-discrimination testing for benefits and annual 401k audit.
· Prepares monthly Turnover Analysis and Headcount Report.
· Works on special projects relating to associate compensation, benefits, and payroll as assigned by Manager.
· Prepares and maintains current job descriptions, jobs postings and job advertisements.
· Assists managers with any personnel issues including disciplinary actions.
· Conducts meetings with managers to review department needs and ensure compliance is being met.
· Resolve conflicts between employee and management when needed.
· Conducts Benefit Open Enrollments in conjunction with Benefits broker.
· Produces compliance and other reports such as EEOC Report and various Pay Rosters of current associates
· Administers Performance Management, Compensation and the Merit Increase Process.
· Creates, maintains, and documents HR administrative processes and procedures to ensure fairness and efficiency.
· Compiles canned and custom reports from the HR and Payroll database as needed.
· Processes biweekly payroll for all associates. Administers W-2, 1095C and taxes filings.
· Serves as a back for Time and Attendance.
· Maintains positive relationship with external recruiting sources such as the Employment Security Commission (ESC), Staffing Agencies, and other sources of qualified candidates.
· Assists with associate events and activities, Rewards and Recognition Program, Charity and the Service Recognition Program.
· Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Payroll processing similar to ADP.
· A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Benefits administration specifically Health, Life, Disability, EAP, and 401(k) Plans A working knowledge of the administration of FMLA and COBRA through a third-party administrator.
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) HRIS, and other PC based programs.
· Professional demeanor, team player; extremely detail oriented, organized, resourceful, enthusiastic, and positive; must maintain confidentiality; must catch on quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes change.
· Ability to train and work closely with managers in a professional manner.
· Analytical, customer service oriented with problem solving skills and conflict resolution.
