Transportation Customer Service Representative (CSR) Job Description
Job Summary: A Transportation Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for managing customer interactions related to transportation services. This role involves addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with transportation logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle Inquiries: Respond to customer questions about transportation services, including routes, schedules, and fares.
· Resolve Issues: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
· Coordinate Shipments: Assist customers with setting up and tracking shipments, providing quotes, and ensuring timely delivery.
· Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and issues.
· Liaise with Carriers: Communicate with transportation carriers to coordinate services and resolve any logistical problems.
· Sales Support: Identify potential sales opportunities and generate leads for transportation services.
· Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction and address any ongoing issues.
