JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE III
Oversee a group of employees and motivate them to do their job efficiently. Position supports the supervisor on meeting daily objectives, and goals. Works with the Compliance and Production Supervisor to ensure all personnel are successfully trained in their positions an on requirement and approved equipment in the work area.
DESCRIPTION:
- Follow all Crown Packaging safety and health rules and regulations, and wear or use required protective equipment while working. Report hazardous conditions to the employer. Report any job-related injury or illness to the supervisor or manager and seek treatment promptly.
- Support supervisor on studying production reports schedules and estimate man hour requirements.
- Direct the work of all shift personnel.
- Train Production Associate II’s and PAIIIs in training with the support of the Compliance Supervisor
- Sign off on all Best Practices, Large Audits, and Quality Audit Forms.
- Be available to assist production employees in assigned area when supervisor not available.
- Perform required start up or end of shift procedures and start up meetings.
- Support supervisor in preparing required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Requisition parts and supplies for delivery to workstations.
- Provide Supervisor up to date training status on PAIIs and PAIIIs.
- Ensure safety procedures and proper PPE are being followed by all shift personnel.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly production reports with shift personnel.
- Provide support in other production areas as needed.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules with approval of supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time.
- Must demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day constantly. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be knowledgeable of all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in stressful situations.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Ability to follow and enforce directions, quality, and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent computer skills
