Driver
All Occasions, a prestigious event company, located in Eighty Four, PA, is seeking Driver Apprentices.
Will assist in loading and unloading vehicles / trucks and work with delivery personnel / driver and dispatch / delivery coordinator to deliver any equipment in full or partial loads. Must service customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner. May be required to assist customers with reservations, contracts, questions, register transactions and order adjustmentts.

Role and Responsibilities :
Accurately load and unload deliveries according to invoicePrep equipment, if necessary, prior to loadingProperly handle equipment to prevent damageAssist with the delivery and pick up of equipmentProvide directional assistance when parking delivery truckSafely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forkliftsRead a road map and clearly communicate directions to the driverKnow specifics and applications of rental inventory to answer questions upon deliveryDouble check delivered items to make sure customer receives exactly what was orderedAid clients with questions and troubleshoot issues as needed, escalate to Dispatch as necessaryNotify dispatcher or store if behind schedule, so customers may be contactedWhen picking up equipment if something is missing or broken, fill out appropriate forms and obtain customer's signatureVerify pickup ticket copies were delivered to warehouse supervisor / manager so counts then can be verified prior to unloadingAdhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal formComply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in storeAttend department, store and safety meetingsMaintain cooperative working relationships with colleaguesPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements :
Must be 18 years of age or olderMust possess customer relations skillsMust be able to read a road map and clearly communicate directions to the driverMust be able to use mathematics to solve problemsMust be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. Work Location : On the road and / or warehouse environmentAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbsPossess a full range of motion and dexterityAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat up to 8 hours a dayComfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various conditions including extreme temperatures, rain, and windMay be exposed to the general range of weather experienced in the area, with the exception of several hours in the warehouse loading and unloading and drive time. Some work areas may not be heated or air conditioned. May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and cleaning solvents. Propane is an obvious hazard; hence a sense of smell is required. Some electrical equipment is delivered, although it is not a requirement to install or service the equipment. If lighting is required (the installation of extension cords and lamps), the drivers are provided with Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFI) breakers. Stooping, crouching, bending, lifting, lowering, reaching, twisting, pulling, pushing, carting and carrying are intermittent tasks that routinely occur.About Us
