The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement, trading, risk management, and sales of various agricultural products including nuts, dried fruits, sugar, fruit juice concentrates, oats, pulses/seeds, and other soft commodities. This role requires extensive knowledge of global and regional agricultural commodity markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective trading strategies to maximize profitability.
- Analyze market trends, weather conditions, and geopolitical factors to inform trading decisions.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, farmers, cooperatives, and buyers.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Agribusiness, Economics, or Finance.
- Substantial experience in agricultural commodities trading, preferably with a focus on soft commodities.
- Strong understanding of futures markets, including CBOT and ICE.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and risk management skills.
