Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble/Setup new implements and equipment arriving into the dealership
- Clean and detail new/used equipment
- Complete work orders and paperwork regarding daily maintenance and repair duties
- Assist Service Technicians as needed, to include performing basic maintenance on Company equipment, delivery of parts, repairing, servicing, and moving equipment
- General lot maintenance – keeping the lot organized and tidy, maintaining the lawn, parking lot, and equipment displays
- General building maintenance – preventative projects to maintain cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the facility
- Clean, organize, and maintain the condition of the shop, inventory, tools, and equipment
- Equipment staging for customer events
- General background knowledge of all equipment/machinery available through the dealership for ease of operation and maintenance
- Adhere to and enforce all safety regulations and wear all safety equipment as required
- Participate in training as assigned
- Work effectively and cooperatively with peers and management
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Class E driver's license (can obtain upon hire)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with a variety of hand and power tools
- Aptitude for listening and following directions
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Safety-minded work habits
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time with walking, climbing stairs, reaching, pushing, pulling, leaning, and twisting
- Ability to lift items up to 75lbs
- Fitness to work in adverse and extreme weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agricultural/Construction Equipment industry
- CDL
- Access to a general assortment of personal tools a plus
- Basic computer experience
- Forklift & power washing experience
Candidate is required to successfully pass the pre-employment screenings which include background check, pre-employment drug testing as well as driving record evaluation.
