Crown Recruiting is thrilled to partner with an ambitious agricultural cooperative in the Hettinger, ND area to seek a dedicated Custom Applicator for their team. In this role, you will apply plant nutrients and crop protection products to clients' fields, perform maintenance on application equipment, and deliver products to customers, all while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.
Custom Applicator Responsibilities:
- Load, handle, and apply dry and liquid fertilizers and crop protection products.
- Ensure accurate product application and billing by utilizing provided information and technology.
- Assist with mixing, transporting, and inventory management of crop protection and fertilizer products.
- Collaborate with the team to minimize errors and maintain effective communication with supervisors and growers.
- Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
- Support equipment and facility maintenance, complete necessary paperwork, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Custom Applicator Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license with clean record.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain a Commercial Applicator’s License.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain a Class A CDL with HazMat endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' related experience.
- Possesses mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn about equipment operation and maintenance.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and effective teamwork skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and performing tasks that require standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, and reaching in challenging areas.
