Grain Location Manager Job Description
This is a senior management position within our agricultural cooperative, located in the Casey, IL area. As the Grain Location Manager, you will oversee the entire grain operation, from weighing and testing to processing payments for inbound and outbound shipments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage grain storage, drying, banking, and shipping to ensure accurate inventory and quality control
- Maintain detailed records of purchases, sales, contracts, and inventory
- E nsure compliance with EHS, OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies
- Manage workflow, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain facilities and equipment; document maintenance accurately
- Build relationships with local ag organizations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience in grain operations, including storage, handling, and marketing
- Microsoft Office suite programs, including Word & Excel
