The Sales Agronomist plays a key role in driving sales efforts and building relationships with valued customers by providing tailored solutions and recommendations. Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and provide product support to both existing and potential customers.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and give expert agronomic advice and crop planning recommendations to customers.
- Lead agronomy sales efforts to ensure profitability and align with business objectives.
- Leverage advanced facilities and equipment to deliver high-quality service.
- Play a key role in helping the organization meet the growing needs of the agriculture industry.
- Assist with other tasks as needed.
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, & willingness to travel within territory
- Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales within ag industry
- Custom Applicators License required
- Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, & ag technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required & ability to learn/use Ag software
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Class A CDL and/or CCA is a plus!
