Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- Build & maintain strong relationships with current & prospective clients, within a family-first culture that values work-life balance.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, & provide expert agronomic advice & crop planning recommendations. This position emphasizes minimal operational duties, allowing a concentrated focus on agronomy without added responsibilities.
- Drive sales growth by increasing crop inputs & related product sales to existing customers. Daily new leads keep engagement high and maximize outreach potential.
- Offer expert agronomic guidance & tailored recommendations to customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, & competitor activities.
- Prepare sales reports & forecasts to align with company objectives, contributing to a competitive compensation structure with guaranteed annual bonuses that recognize success and dedication.
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license & willingness to travel within territory required.
- Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years' experience in sales within ag industry required.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain CCA.
- Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, & ag technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required & ability to learn/use Ag software.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
