Dayshift: Mon.-Thurs. 6am-6:30pm

Duties and responsibilities

· Inspect Forklift Daily and complete inspection form.

· Maintain all Safety features and comply with their proper usage.

· Forklifts must be cleaned and greased weekly.

· Verify all finished goods are properly packaged and labeled.

· Communicate with Yard department frequently for yard organization.

· Ensure all finished goods are stacked safely and precisely to prevent unnecessary damage and loss.

· Support production team between product movements with Quality Inspections.

· Work with your team to resolve any issues causing production downtime to urgently regain and maintain production goals.

· Assist production team with mechanical issues with urgency to maintain production goals.

· Keep equipment and work area clean and organized.

· Ensure a quality product is being created meeting the required specifications.

· Ensure that all safety equipment is in proper working order, report all issues.

· Maintain Crown’s Housekeeping standards. The plant must be cleaned every shift; In, around, and under all machinery.

· Assist with various daily tasks, as needed including assisting other Departments where needed.

· Professional and consistent communication with all Crown employees.

· Always maintain a professional work environment.

· Maintain company confidentially with respect to customers, vendors, co-workers, and any outside sources.

Skills & Qualifications

· 2 years Forklift Eperience

· Combination of both technical and social skills.

· Physical Strength and stamina.

· Basic computer skills and critical thinking abilities.

· Proficiency with hand tools.

· Written and Verbal Communication skills.

· Ability to read and follow instructions.

· Ability to work as part of a team.

· Organizational skills.

· Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.

· Attention to Detail.

Working conditions

Working conditions are normal for a concrete manufacturing plant environment.

Physical requirements

Physical ability to complete job duties, which may include standing for extended periods, frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, working in a space that lacks climate control or lifting objects with an established maximum weight up to 50 lbs. – 75 lbs.
