A planning & producing precast company is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance to demonstrate mechanical & electrical knowledge and repair abilities to gantry cranes, Tucker belt, forklifts, spotter trucks, end loaders, and air compressors.
Heavy Equipment Maintenance on Forklifts, Spotter Trucks, End Loaders, Air Compressors & More.
1st Shift : 7-4pm (must be available on-call)
Pay rate : $31.25 - Direct Hire Union opportunity
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :
Demonstrate mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
Ability to manage multiple complicated priorities / tasks.
Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently.
Must have personal tool set.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :
All duties assigned to Vehicle A and Trailer Mechanic B as well as the following :
Ability to diagnose and repair various operating systems for gantry cranes, Tucker belts, forklifts, spotter trucks, end loaders, air compressors, and other vehicle-related equipment.
Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and DC electrical systems.
Ability to use parts / service manuals, and read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Works with minimal supervision or assistance.
Completes work orders / tasks assigned by management in a timely manner.
Proficient with computers, able to use Microsoft Office.
Basic welding abilities.
On call 24 / 7.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE :
High school / trade school diploma required.
Requires a minimum of 2 years-experience in a related field.
The ability to possess in reading, writing, and speaking English. Bilingual is a plus
Able to complete third-party training courses within the supervisor’s timeframe.
