Crown Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to fill an opening with a local Manufacturing company in McCalla, AL.
Position Overview: The Automotive Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the automotive parts warehouse. This includes managing staff, ensuring efficient inventory management, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing warehouse processes to meet company objectives. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, and weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring a productive and safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping automotive parts; conduct regular stock audits.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate shipments and deliveries, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy in inventory and compliance with safety regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety training and audits.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and team performance to management.
- Customer Service: Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies or customer inquiries regarding parts availability.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in logistics, business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and industry practices is a plus.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and knowledge of safety regulations preferred.
Working Conditions: This position may require standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and working in a warehouse environment that may be subject to temperature variations.
