Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for the oversight, management, and implementation of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and department staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains department staff.
- Provides training to company personnel regarding the company’s quality management standards.
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees the company’s ISO 9001 quality management system
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
- Coordinates work and schedules with outside inspectors as needed.
- Participates in product testing and inspections as needed.
- Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives to analyze quality failures and help drive quality improvements.
- Reviews client, customer, and user feedback; address customer inquiries pertaining to quality control.
- Maintain Equipment Calibration Log and send equipment out for calibration as needed.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

At least five years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to traverse the production floor as needed.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
