What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server position at Crowne Plaza Hotel?
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to banquet guests
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and efficient manner
- Clear tables and clean banquet areas during and after events
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience in food handling, preferably in a banquet setting
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and ability to mix basic drinks
- Familiarity with food preparation and presentation techniques
- Understanding of food safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to operate coffee machines and prepare various types of coffee
- Experience with bussing tables and providing assistance to guests as needed
- Excellent guest service skills, including the ability to anticipate needs and respond promptly
