What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Crowne Plaza Hotel?
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
Experience:
- Previous experience in hotel food service or bartending preferred
- Familiarity with Simphony POS system is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong math skills for calculating bills and making change accurately
Skills:
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and cocktail recipes
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payment handling
- Experience in catering or event bartending is a plus
