We are looking for a competent AM Restaurant Server who is an early riser that enjoys interacting with people, with keen attention to detail, and an effective listener. to join our team.
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday: 6A to 11P. including weekends & holidays
Roles and Responsibilities: This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
- To provide quality and efficient service.
- Attend to customers upon entrance presenting menus
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order prior to guest arrival.
- Take and serve orders and serving food and beverages.
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude and professionalism.
Requirements: Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Skills
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience a plus
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Must be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically).
- Patience, polite, professional, and customer-oriented approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
Education:
- High school education or equivalent plus but not required.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English which the primary language is used in this workplace.
Physical: Requires bending, stooping, standing, walking, reaching, grasping, carrying, repetitive motions, visual acuity, hearing, writing and good verbal skills.
