We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with hotel standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors to uphold cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in laundry duties as required, ensuring all linens are cleaned and stored properly.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.
• Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Proficient in cleaning techniques including custodial practices and industrial cleaning methods.
• Knowledge of floor care procedures for various types of surfaces.
• Experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
