Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team at our esteemed hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for the hospitality industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring that guests receive a warm welcome and efficient service throughout their stay.
Duties
- Manage front office operations, including check-in/check-out processes and guest inquiries.
- Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure high standards of service and professionalism.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Monitor phone systems to ensure effective communication with guests and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and billing information.
- Conduct night audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Implement hospitality management best practices to improve operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in a front office management role within the hospitality sector, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with phone systems and proficient phone etiquette is essential.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is an advantage.
- A background in hospitality management is preferred, showcasing your ability to lead teams effectively.
