Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted and free of debris.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and perform floor care duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with guests and other staff members.
- Follow established housekeeping procedures and standards for quality assurance.
Skills
- Proficiency in floor care techniques, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing various surfaces.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and housekeeping management principles.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus.
