This role requires a deep understanding of manpower, performance management, workforce planning, and human capital management, and is critical in driving the effectiveness of our personnel programs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide expert guidance on manpower, performance management, workforce planning, and human capital management within the Department of Defense.
- Utilize a comprehensive understanding of Army, Navy, and Air Force military personnel and manpower programs, including the regulations and policies that govern these programs.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and enhance strategies that align with the Defense Health Agency's mission and objectives.
- Manage and support various human capital initiatives and projects, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in human capital management, proposing improvements to systems and processes as needed.
- Utilize MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint for creating reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Foster effective communication and strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns related to human capital management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manpower, performance management, workforce planning, and human capital management principles and practices.
- Required understanding of Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel and manpower programs, including relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with the DoD and the Defense Health Agency is highly desirable.
