Position Overview
This position supports and assists management and staff with various administrative duties.
Job Duties
- Assist the Vice President of Technical Services and the IT Department, including coordinating meetings with other departments.
- Relay messages and maintain a high level of confidentiality while supporting the VP of Technical Services.
- Maintain IT department content on the company intranet.
- Book travel and complete expense reports through Concur.
- Maintain district information in company directory.
- Assist with major company events as needed.
- Provide administrative support for management as required.
- Offer back-up phone coverage for receptionists when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge
- Experience in an office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Skype.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple phone lines.
- Familiarity with online purchasing and travel platforms.
Abilities
- Multi-tasking, typing, researching, and presenting information effectively.
- Maintaining communication with a diverse range of clients and employees.
Education and Experience
- Two years of related experience in an office setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
