Job Title : Business Strategy Project Manager

Location : Plano, TX

Contract for 6 Months

Schedule : Hybrid (4 days office / 1 day remote)

1. Analytical Skills : need to be able to learn and understand key metrics used in MX and analyze this. And need to help build PPT slide based on this. Advanced Excel and PPT are required.

2. Communication Skills : need to be able to communicate with all teams with clear instruction and guide for strategic meeting prep. Should be able to communicate (speaking and written) clearly in English across a variety of mediums, including phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business strategy, financial analysis, and market research within the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) sector.

Job Summary

The Business Strategy Project Manager & Performance Manager will be responsible for driving strategic business initiatives, performance evaluation, and market analysis. This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who can collaborate effectively across teams, communicate insights clearly, and contribute to achieving business goals through data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business strategy, financial analysis, and market research within the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) sector.

Key Responsibilities

Business Target Setting & Performance Evaluation

Establish and manage short- and long-term business goals to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
Measure and evaluate performance against set objectives using key evaluation metrics.
Provide strategic recommendations to optimize business performance and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure fair and accurate evaluation processes to motivate teams and induce positive behavioral changes.

Business Issues Identification & Risk Management

Identify and address key business issues, such as operational inefficiencies, performance gaps, and market risks.

Develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks and support effective decision-making.

Conduct benchmarking analyses and recommend improvement measures.

Market & Competitive Analysis

Monitor market trends, customer behaviors, competitive landscape, and industry developments.

Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors' strategies and identify potential opportunities.

Generate actionable insights to support business growth and market positioning.

Business Performance Reviews

Lead monthly business performance reviews, aligning financial objectives with operational execution.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure consistent reporting and execution of key business plans.

Develop and implement performance review frameworks and action plans.

Integrated Operations Analysis & Reporting

Collect, analyze, and present key market performance, sales, and competitive data to senior leadership.

Develop and maintain sales dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and early warning reports.

Lead sales reporting and analysis for the mobile business unit.

Strategic Initiatives & Task Management

Manage tracking and execution of strategic initiatives derived from executive meetings and business planning sessions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of key projects.

Provide regular updates on initiative progress to key stakeholders.

Cross-functional Project & Process Management

Lead cross-functional projects that address critical business needs.

Develop project plans, track progress, and conduct post-mortem reviews for continuous improvement.

Ensure alignment and collaboration across departments to drive successful project execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Analytical Skills :

Strong ability to interpret key business metrics and translate them into actionable insights.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.

Experience with business intelligence tools and reporting dashboards is a plus.

Communication & Collaboration :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ability to communicate effectively across different teams, including senior executives and external stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills to guide and align teams towards common goals.

Teamwork & Leadership :

Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Proven experience working in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic projects and initiatives.

Educational & Professional Background :

MBA or bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in the TMT sector.

5 years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or a related field.

Strong background in consumer technology, business transformation, and marketing.
