Job Title: Vice President, Sales Strategy

An established, high-growth organization with over 35 years of success - operating at the intersection of advanced commercial automation and national defense - is conducting a confidential executive search for a Vice President of Sales Strategy & Operations.
The company has recently surpassed $100M in revenue and has ambitious plans to double that in the next 1 2 years. As both a commercial product innovator and DoD Prime Contractor, with added expertise in drone counterintelligence, this privately held, family-owned company is poised for transformative expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement a scalable sales strategy across commercial and government sectors
- Redesign the sales org structure, including roles, metrics, and comp strategy
- Lead business development and deepen strategic/government relationships
- Develop actionable metrics and forecasting for executive decision-making
- Mentor and manage a high-performing team (6 direct reports)
- Collaborate cross-divisionally to balance client portfolios and product priorities
- Align sales with complex technical systems (e.g., motors, actuators, drone tech)
Ideal Experience:
- Leadership in Sales Ops or GTM within high-growth, multi-division orgs
- Experience selling into technical markets, especially with Defense or DoD
- Proven organizational design, leadership development, and transformation skills
- Strong data-driven, strategic mindset
- Executive presence with hands-on operational execution
