What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Technician - Full Time, Days and every other weekend position at Crozer Health?
As a Logistics Technician at Crozer health, you will receive products from vendors, store and distribute medical supplies and equipment throughout the Health System. Maintain adequate supply levels in all patient care areas and in designated areas handling supplies to ensure sterility and proper infection control. Clean and maintain supply closets and shelving in a neat and orderly fashion in order for staff to easily find needed supplies.Control inventory by cycle counts, monitoring usage in all inventory areas and report any fluctuations to the Nurse Manager and Distribution Manager for evaluation. Order supplies daily using the handheld computer prior to restocking the unit. Download inventories, upload and process orders using the current inventory system to maintain adequate LUM par levels of supplies on carts, floors and inventories.
Education and Training :
High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience
Receiving experience required.
Computer experience required.
Hospital experience preferred.
Registration, Licensure and / or Certification :
Driver's License
Skills :
Computer skills, expediting, fax machine, copy machine, forklift, peripheral computer devices, pagers, mobile phone, and ability to write.
