What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Technician (Full Time) position at Crozer Health?
The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of a RN or LPN. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis interventions, and activities of daily living. The Technician will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by the RN or LPN.

Responsibilities
- Safety Rounds
- Oversee patient behavior
- Facilitate patient activities
- Orient new patients
- Assis with discharges
- Intervene to de-escalate agression
Requirements
- Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's preferred
- BLS
- 1 year experience in psych inpatient or day programs, or psych residential placement programs, or in Therapeutic Services
- Crisis PRevention Cert preferred
- Mandated and Permissive Reporter Training
