Patient Care Technician - Rehab

The Patient Care Tech (PCT) provides direct, basic patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN, handling the care and cleaning of patient rooms / area and specific equipment, and the inventorying, ordering, and stocking of designated instruments, equipment, and supplies. PCTs assist with transportation of patients and supplies, and their day can vary from patient assessments, using IV skills, EKG, and giving Meds, feeding, bathing and toileting, to utilizing Combative Patient skills training, crisis management and intervention techniques.
