Duties
- Install and maintain fiber optic cables and related equipment.
- Perform fiber splicing and testing to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber optic systems.
- Utilize hand tools and field service equipment to complete installations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service updates and technical support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in telecommunication systems, particularly with fiber optics.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles.
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and Ethernet technology.
