Packer and Mover Crew lead

As a packer and mover crew lead at Content Recovery Specialists (CRS), you will play a vital role in managing and handling a crew that is moving and packing contents of homes affected by fire and water damage. Your responsibilities will include making sure contents are careful organization, packed, moved and transported.

Packer Responsibilities :

• Inventory Management: Utilize an iPad to take inventory of both salvageable and non-salvageable items.
• Packing Preparation: Prepare the packing area for efficient packing of contents in homes or businesses.
• Item Wrapping: Carefully wrap small items and place them in appropriate boxes for safe transport

Mover Responsibilities:

• Wrapping items carefully
• Move boxes, items and furniture carefully to the truck and warehouse
• Driving trucks and van safely between job sites and warehouse
• Using forklift within warehouse
• Making optimum use of warehouse space for storage

Crew Lead Responsibility:

• Ensure jobs have adequate staffing and other resources making optimum use of resources
• Safety of crew on jobs and in warehouse
• Ensure customer property and contents are not damaged at anytime
• Document everything correctly and submit to office on time
• Train crew members
• Assist crew in moving and packing as needed
• Drive company trucks and vans as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have clearance to work in the United States.
• A clean background check and the ability to pass a drug test are required.
• Experience leading a moving and packing crew in a moving or restoration company

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience working in packing and moving or content restoration/cleaning.
• IICRC Content Processing Technician (OCT) Certification
