Customer Service Supply Chain Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain processes, ensuring efficient procurement, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles, demand planning, and production planning to effectively support our operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely acquisition of materials and supplies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align inventory levels with production needs.
• Utilize MRP systems and software such as SAP or Oracle EBS for effective inventory management and order processing.
• Monitor supplier performance and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve overall efficiency.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are available for fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and supplier information.
• Prepare reports on supply chain metrics and present findings to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in supply chain management or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and systems.
• Familiarity with demand planning techniques and production planning methodologies.
• Proficiency in using MRP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle EBS is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
