Location : Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Shift : This role will work a 12-hour shift 3 days one week and 4 the next. 5am - 5pm. Due to the schedule, this position is eligible for additional pay via shift differential.
Job Summary :
The management, coordination, and execution of warehouse operations. Warehouse operations professionals play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods within a warehouse or distribution center. They ensure that products and goods are handled with safety, quality and care as they are moved around and monitor inventory levels to ensure warehouse capacity is met for timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Sweep small debris out of trailers with push broom or electric leaf blower
- Walking the areas picking up loose trash
- Reporting dock issues
- Similar yard tasks assigned by supervisor
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- Similar experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations
