Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Event Server to join our team. As a Server for Cru Catering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events by providing exceptional customer service and support. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Our Servers are responsible for providing a professional and polished service at each event regardless of size, location or formality. A shift with Cru may consist of the following:
- Arranging tables and decorations, setting buffet tables according to pre-established standards.
- Serving food and beverages to guests.
- Cleaning and unpacking dishes and utensils.
- Serving plated dinners to guests and responding to requests
- Serving alcoholic beverages and opening wine
- Cleaning venues after the end of each event and any other task as needed.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of guest services principles and practices, particularly in banquet or catering settings.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and support for fellow staff members.
