Cru Catering is seeking dynamic, motivated, self-starters to join our Award-Winning Team! This is a fantastic opportunity for hardworking individuals looking for something part-time, manageable around another full-time job or school schedule, or just extremely flexible. As part of the Cru Catering Team, you will have the opportunity to work at venues all over the Charleston area and sometimes travel around the Southeast while participating in the execution of innovative and creative experiences for our clients and their guests. elevated level of service and expectations are driving factors in our continued success. The ideal candidate is a flexible and responsible individual with a passion for the industry looking to work part-time on an income supplemental basis.
We are currently seeking Banquet Servers, Culinary Support and Special Event Bartenders in preparation for our upcoming busy Spring Season. Experience is not required for all positions, but the ability to cross train and be flexible is ideal. Bartenders are required to have at least one-year previous experience and a current TIPS certification.
Job Responsibilities can include:
- Providing professional and polished service to guests.
- Assisting in the complete setup and breakdown including tables/equipment.
- Load/unload vehicles/vans with event equipment and supplies.
- Passing hors d’oeuvres, trays of wine, cocktails, etc.
- Serving, maintaining, and monitoring stations.
- Clearing plates, silverware, and glassware.
- Assist in plating food/assembling trays for service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Communicate menu items and their ingredients to guests.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (Bartenders must be at least 21 years of age).
- Must be flexible and able to work weekends and evenings.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from different event locations throughout the Charleston area.
All Staff should be able to:
- Work in outdoor weather conditions (rain, wind, heat, cold, etc.).
- Stand, walk, carry extended periods of time.
- Repetitively lift, push, pull and carry up to 15 lbs. frequently.
- Perform repetitive arm and hand movements such as pushing, pulling, and grasping.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.50 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
