What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flatwork Foreman position at Cru Concrete, Inc.?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Completion of flatwork concrete jobs
- Guidance of crew members
- Maintain company productivity, quality, and safety targets
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of field experience in concrete flatwork preferred
- Ability to lift 100 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with power tools
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Good work ethic
Tasks:
- Ensure proper conditions for job quality and safety before and during projects
- Assign tasks to crew members
- Train new crew members to work efficiently and safely
- Review crew member timecards
- Complete vehicle mechanical and safety checklists daily
- Maintain truck stocks of consumable materials
- Ensure work truck(s) are loaded correctly
- Order fill sand, lumber, and gravel
- Layout work for jobs including forms, height, pitch, etc.
- Organize grading and concrete pouring
- Note changes in jobsite conditions and/or alterations and inform your supervisor
- Concrete removal and hauling
- Complete final review of completed work to check quality
- Attend foremen meeting and safety meetings as scheduled
- Other tasks as needed
