Details about the role:
Successfully complete scheduled landscaping tasks as well as work orders as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor (daily, weekly, monthly, annual).
Mow the Legacy Campus grounds as directed by supervisor (Spring, Summer, Fall hires)
Trim and edge walks, flower beds and walls.
Participates in team meetings and functions.
Assist with grounds maintenance for World Training and Resource Center (WTRC) and Sports Complex and Retreat Center (SCRC) (grass, trees, flower beds, mulch and landscaping).
Assist with maintenance on the WTRC grounds, buildings and sports complex.
Be on-call during the winter months for snow removal (Winter hires)
Operate snow plows and sanding/salting trucks to remove ice and snow from roads, sidewalks and assigned areas, which require early morning starts, extended hours and weekend duty with occasional holidays.
Shovel snow, mowing grounds maintenance and other duties as assigned related to facilities and roads maintenance.
Performs routine equipment maintenance/repair tasks such as changing vehicle fluids, fueling, greasing, painting, etc.
Inspects equipment on a regularly scheduled basis. Complies with safety precautions.
Follows all safety rules, policies, and regulations. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience and Skills:
Preferred High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant experience.
