Who We’re Looking For:
We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Paralegal. The ideal candidate will provide crucial support in various legal and administrative matters. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for legal functions to make a meaningful impact within our organization.
The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:
Manage intake process by gathering and analyzing information related to all new and existing practice area legal matters for all Cru ministries and as directed by supervising attorney(s) and/or paralegal(s). Maintain matters using a dedicated technology system? ensure proper indexing and filing of legal matters.
As directed by supervising attorney and/or paralegal(s), prepare a variety of complex correspondence, legal documents, reports, corporate records and other material including matters of a confidential nature. Transmit legal correspondence to clients by electronic mail, mail, delivery service or fax. Interface with clients and update documents with negotiated changes on behalf of legal counsel.
Handle highly confidential information in practice areas law including but not limited to federal, state, and municipal law compliance; intellectual property; legal agreements and documents; data privacy; employment and Human Resources; First Amendment; corporate governance; health care law and services; global matters; tax; real estate; and any other related legal matters.
In consultation with practice area attorney, draft legal documents, such as licenses, contracts, permissions and agreements or governance documents such as minutes and agendas. Exhibits the ability to think critically, and assess legal and risk issues on a variety of legal topics
Prepare affidavits of documents and maintain document files? ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents.
Under direction of attorney, conduct legal research on a variety of legal issues.
Responds to staff inquiries and assist staff in obtaining necessary legal assistance when requested. Coordinate the duplication and distribution of a variety of materials.

Experience and Skills:
2 years Associate’s degree
3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Paralegal certification is required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience of 5 years or more
