2 nd Shift Material Handler
Temp – To – Hire
Monday – Friday – 3 : 30pm – 12 : 00 Midnight
17 .75 / hr to start, eligible for raise and benefits once hired on.
Must start on 1st Shift for training - 2-4 weeks. $17.00 / hr while training.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and pass a drug test.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work (not on bus line).

Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Material Handler to join our dynamic team in the plastics industry. The Material Handler will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of inventory management, and the ability to work effectively during 2nd shift hours.
Key Responsibilities :
- Material Handling : Efficiently move, stack, and organize raw materials and finished products using hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for production needs. Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies.
- Quality Control : Inspect materials and products for quality and compliance with company standards. Report any defects or issues to the appropriate department.
- Documentation : Accurately complete and maintain necessary documentation for inventory, material usage, and production reports.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Report safety hazards or incidents immediately.
- Collaboration : Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials to production lines.
- Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance checks on material handling equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
