Title: Manufacturing Oven Operator
Type: Full-time, temp to hire
Pay: $18 / hour (up to $20 at full time hire)
Shift: 1st shift (7am-3:30pm); OT required at certain points
POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to support the assembly team in the production of product elements. This position will load, monitor and unload product into ovens during the adhesive curing process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Loading and unloading products into nine (9) various ovens
- Execute oven dwell time using established practices (timers)
- Conduct cool down procedures for finished parts after cure is complete
- Complete final assembly by installing O-rings and grommets after cool down
- Transport pleat packs to workstations after curing in ovens
- Conduct washing procedures when required for components required for assembly
- Execute shut down procedures at end of shift, assuring parts are removed and ovens shut down
- Organize transport carts per company standards
- Conduct visual initial inspection of cured parts, isolate defects & notify lead or manager
- Transport finished goods to final inspection
- Follows all instructions on work order & completes necessary documentation before moving to final inspection
- Adheres to safety rules at all times, wears proper PPE required for task being performed and follows all Company policies
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment at all times
- Ability to work shift schedule, five (5) eight-hour shifts or four (4) ten-hour shifts. With overtime as required.
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrates close attention to detail
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency, is self-motivated to continually improve performance, and is a team player
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motions with good eye-hand dexterity
- Dexterity to handle and assemble both small and large components
- Demonstrates the ability to use hand tools and measuring tools effectively.
- Experience with ERP systems, scanning on and off processes and computerized manufacturing equipment
- Some familiarity with basic Windows operation and applications such as MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar programs.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 12 months experience in a fast-paced light manufacturing environment
- Experience with moving material or previous material handling experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- English fluent

- Basic math

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing (50%) / walking (40%) / sitting (10%)
- Lifting / carrying up to 50-lbs, standing, bending, stooping, pushing carts with wheels containing filters, walking as required
- Good eyesight to be able to see small print and technical drawings
- See differences in colors and shape
