Wax Technician
Pay : $18 / hr
Timings : 6 : 30-5 : 00 Mon- Thurs with 2 paid breaks, one 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Hours : 40 hrs / week no overtime for now but maybe down the road
Will work in our wax department being a part of a fast-paced team environment. This departments is responsible for some of the initial steps necessary for producing unique pieces of art for artists around the country and across the world. This position will occasionally be needed to help in related departments and the desire is to cross train. The Wax department is an air conditioned workspaces.
Responsibilities include :
- Clean and prepping wax patterns
- Use measuring equipment and hand tools
- Check parts for accuracy / finish waxes to client specifications
- Inspect completed work with strong attention to detail and meet quality standard
- Maintain clean and organized workspace
- Physical stamina- ability to stand at work station for long periods, also bend, stoop, sit, lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
