ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN
JOB SUMMARY: Assemble and test units and circuits required with assistance. Document test data and related data. Run automated test equipment. Troubleshoot circuit boards down to the component level and assist in providing technical support as assigned by the Quality Manager.
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY: Assemble and test units and circuits required with assistance. Document test data and related data. Run automated test equipment. Troubleshoot circuit boards down to the component level and assist in providing technical support as assigned by the Quality Manager.
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
Essential Duties
- Develop test procedures based on specifications with assistance.
- Conduct design verification and functional tests on various products and record data.
- Troubleshooting down to component level using testing procedures, schematics, etc.
- Provide assistance to Quality Engineering for failure analysis.
- Provide customer technical assistance on testing and/or unit setup.
- Assist in the evaluation of electronic components.
- Build test equipment/set ups needed with assistance.
- Assist in building and testing of setups used for training purposes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in providing estimates for testing time for project schedules.
- Inform management and project engineer of work progress.
- Ensure equipment used for testing remains calibrated, maintained, and ready for use.
- Assist in developing automated testing programs and setups.
- Performs minor circuit modifications to meet specifications with assistance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree in Electronics Technology or Equivalent.
- Basic Computer Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to troubleshoot to the component level.
- Travel as required for training, support of project tasks, product issues, or other design or job related needs.
- Frequent long periods of standing or sitting.
- Frequent bending or stooping.
- Lifting and carrying average to heavy weight (10-50 lbs.) materials or objects.
- Occasional pushing and pulling materials or objects.
- Hand/finger dexterity and coordination.
