Crucible Business Academy (CBA) is a forward-thinking, entrepreneurship-focused high school expanding from Madagascar to Denver. As the Principal, you will lead our Denver campus, championing our inclusive, project-based educational model and ensuring that students receive a transformative learning experience. Reporting directly to the Executive Director you will be responsible for academic excellence, community engagement, and faculty development.

As the Principal of our new Denver Campus, you occupy a pivotal leadership role within CBA’s global network. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Director and a diverse team of educators. Your strategic decisions will shape the school’s direction, forge community partnerships, and establish a lasting impact on how CBA’s mission unfolds in the U.S.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Culture
- Implement campus-level strategies that align with CBA’s overarching mission and vision.
- Cultivate a positive, student-centered culture that emphasizes entrepreneurship, collaboration, and personal growth.
Academic Leadership
- Oversee curriculum and instruction, ensuring compliance with IB accreditation requirements and local/state regulations.
- Oversee innovative teaching methods (including Project-Based Learning and UDL), fostering diverse and equitable learning experiences for all students.
Faculty Development & Support
- Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse faculty committed to inclusive, student-focused teaching practices.
- Promote continuous professional development, peer collaboration, and performance evaluations that drive excellence.
Restorative Discipline & Democratic Governance
- Implement restorative discipline methods consistent with the school’s democratic approach, teaching conflict resolution and shared responsibility.
- Support student voice by encouraging participation in school decision-making processes.
- Education & Licensure
- Master’s degree or higher in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field.
- Possess or be eligible for Colorado Principal Licensure.
- Experience & Skills
- Proven leadership experience in a secondary education setting (Principal, Assistant Principal, Director, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in inclusive, student-centered programs (e.g., UDL, PBL, or similar frameworks).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to build trusting relationships with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 to paid in the first two weeks with a four year commitment.
- Annual Salary: $125,000–$135,000 (tied to performance).

- Official start of the 2025–2026 school year.
Initial Screening
- Completed applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected candidates will be invited for a phone or virtual interview.
First-Round Interviews
- Candidates participate in a panel interview with senior leadership and faculty.
Second-Round Interviews & Site Review
- Finalists tour the remodeled facility (or review final plans) and meet key stakeholders (families, community partners, and board members).
Background Checks & Verification
- Employment offers are contingent upon criminal background checks, fingerprinting, and TB testing in accordance with Colorado law.
- References will be contacted to confirm qualifications and fit.
Offer & Onboarding
- Target offer timeline is early 2025, allowing a smooth transition before the June 1, 2025 start date.
