What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grower Indoor position at Cruise Control?
Oversee cannabis crops and facilities ( indoor production facility)
- Develop cultivation plans and assign duties
- Organize and document the daily process of transplanting, cloning, defoliation and trimming of plants
- Ensure the growth requirements of cannabis plants are consistently met (lighting, soil PH, nutrients, etc.
- Ensures SOP’s are established, approved and followed in daily processes
- Apply indoor farming methods that increase yields while maintianing a top tier quality
- Lead maintenance operations (including disposing waste and preventing contamination)
- Diagnose and resolve plant health issues like mold, mildew or other infestations
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail to achieve consistently high quality and yield
- Work directly with Inventory manager and Sales to ensure the quantity, mix and yield of strains planted and produced will support sales goals and market needs.
- Provide daily updates to the Cultivation Inventory Manager on status of harvest and dry rooms
- Ensure legal compliance of cultivation procedures are enforced
- Manage inventory and budgets related to marijuana farming (including equipment, security and HVAC systems)
- Supervise and coach employees who tend to the plants (e.g. cannabis trimmers)
- Inspect quality of harvest
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
